Jessica and Chris are a couple that managed the trials of a long distance relationship while they were in University. Having recently graduated they have chosen to start their lives together in Winnipeg, with a fall wedding at Terrace 55. We are very excited to be capturing their wedding day on Sunday!
Below is a preview of their engagement session. Hope you enjoy!

We got to spend some time last Sunday afternoon with Hayden, and his mom, Toni.
Toni called us to book a portrait session to celebrate Hayden’s first birthday. He’s one of the most easy-going, and happy children that we’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. He recently learned to walk so we spent our time together strolling through Stephen Juba Park.
Toni wanted some black and white shots, so we kept that in mind while shooting. Below I’m including some of my favourite shots from this session. Hope you like them too!
Thank you again, Toni and Hayden!

In recent years, we’ve seen the evolution of our waterfront. Stephen Juba Park has been a favourite outdoor location for many couples on their wedding day. With access to the river, wooded area, and the older buildings on the outskirts of the exchange district, the waterfront has been one of my favourite locations to shoot engagement sessions.
Fans of black and white photography, Roberto and Emilia looked great against the backdrop of the area. With their wedding just around the corner, we are so happy to be able to share some of our favourite shots from their engagement session…and of course, we’re very excited to work with them again soon!

The last day of 2009, ALREADY! Hope that you’ve all had a great holiday so far!
Having hosted a few gatherings this season, I feel very very fortunate to be constantly surrounded by close friends and loved ones. I wish the same for you.
Before the year’s end, I thought I would update my blog with photos from Marilyn and Marcel’s wedding which we shot in mid-December. Their intimate ceremony and reception took place at the Mariaggi Theme Suites Hotel in the exchange district. It was during that week that Winnipeg experienced the first deep freeze of 2009, so it was really neat to shoot in the various suites that featured a more tropical feel.
Below are a few of my favourite images from their day. If you are family or friends of the couple, Click Here to view their gallery.

Over the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing the Beach family. From pregnancy pictures to our most recent shoot, Andrew, Alyssa and Harrison are always a wonderful family to work with.
Harrison, in particular, is a real pleasure to be around. We convinced him to pose for a few portraits, but after that he was in constant motion for the rest of our time together. This year, he brought his camera so that he could shoot a few pictures of me…
How cute is that!!!
